Is there a dress code at Caliente Caribe?

No, Caribe is purely clothing optional. Nudity or clothes are not required anywhere. Attire “appropriate for the occasion” is the only dress code for Caliente Resorts. You are free to wear whatever you, the individual, feel most comfortable in.

What type of clothes should I bring?

Resort casual if you are going on side trips, and if you want to participate in the theme nights at dinner, check the web site for the dinner themes and as always, clothes are optional.

What do I do when I arrive at the airport in the Dominican Republic?

You will receive a guest packet in the mail prior to your departure with detailed instructions to make your trip from the airport to the resort as easy and trouble free as your vacation will be.

Are there daily activities at Caliente Caribe?

Yes, each day from 10 am till 10 pm there the activities staff has everything from Spanish lessons to water volleyball planned if you wish to participate. Each day there are different games and themes. Check the web site for the weekly schedule as well as the beach bar bulletin board.

Is there entertainment on the resort property?

Each night after dinner there is a different entertainment feature from a Dominican Dance Revue to Karaoke. Love to dance the night away? Then this is the place for you. Fully air conditioned our new night club, “Club Caribe” features great sound and mirrored dance floor to party till you drop! Check out the dance pole! Walk across the room, and you’ll find our full service bar and conversation lounges where you can talk, laugh, enjoy without ever leaving the action.

Are cameras allowed on the resort property?

If you wish to take personal photographs during your stay at Caliente Resorts, a manager must be present while the photographs are taken. The use of any camera or DEVICE with Camera capability, by any unauthorized guest or person, is strictly prohibited.

What type of security is at Caliente Caribe?

Caliente Resorts are gated properties with security staff on-site twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Rooms have a safes for personal items?

Is there Internet at Caliente Caribe?

Yes, Internet Access is available and included in the price of your stay.

Is there “Laundry Service” available at Caliente Caribe?

Daily maid service is included in the price of all accommodations. For your convenience, laundry service is available for a fee.

Is there a “cash policy” at Caliente Caribe?

NO, Caribe is All-Inclusive, so no cash is required. However, cash is accepted at the boutique, spa and front desk for services or items that may require a purchase.

Is there “open sex” allowed at Caliente Caribe?

Overt sexual behavior or the appearance of such behavior is unacceptable at Caliente Resorts. Behavior “never needing an apology” is the norm. Nudists and swingers, “Lifestyle couples”, co-exist comfortably in the Caliente environment. Everyone at Caliente is not a nudist or a swinger, so the “No means no” rule is why everyone gets along. No, thank you is all you need to say.

Electricity?

It is 110 volts, same as the U.S.

Refrigerator

Included in each room.

What is Included?

All meals, snacks, drinks, snorkels, kayaks and beach shoes.

Beverages

All alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included, including wine with dinner.

Cell Phones

Most U.S. cell phones work in the Dominican, but be sure to check with your carrier to make sure foreign service is turned on. Calls are not cheap. Important: If you have a phone that also checks for email periodically, turn off that feature or you will get a HUGE surprise with your next bill!

Tipping

The resort is all-inclusive, meaning you are not expected to tip but it is not prohibited when you have received exceptional service.

Shopping

The Tour Desk b the front desk can arrange a shopping trip or you can arrange a taxi at the front desk. If you are going with one of our groups, we usually arrange an escorted group shopping trip during the week.

Sightseeing

The tour desk offers many tours. You can also hire a taxi for a private tour. The Front Desk can assist you with that.
